I love reusable bags, I usually take some anywhere when I’m out in town for shopping! That’s why I created this beautiful market bag.

I used my Sakura Face Scrubbies pattern and extended it to create this beautifully textured bottom part which gives some extra touch to the final product!

I used Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK in lime green colourway. It is a very vibrant colour and brightens up a gloomy day. :)

It is an easy pattern but a bit more advanced because of some special stitches used.

I hope you’ll enjoy this pattern as much as I did when creating it!

I was upset that it took almost 6 ounces of worsted 4 ply 100% cotton yarn to finish this bag. The instructions say only half that. I've made this pattern before, but not with this yarn, so this is the first time I am acutely aware of how much I am using and it is much more than I thought. (Same size hook)

The beginning is certainly a bit confusing and it used almost 3 balls of 2-2.5 oz yarn, but it's really cute. Could be improved on in a few areas but still yields a good result

I found this pattern kind of hard to follow from time to time but i'm really pleased with the outcome. I am not used to following patterns so it might just be that though. I whipped this up in no time (a couple of hours maybe). I say try it, you might end up with a really pretty bag!

Incredibly easy to follow and produces a beautiful bag! I finished it in a few hours over a couple days and it holds stuff like a book or my water bottle very well! I'll definitely be using it for groceries or other errands.

I improvised a bit. As per usual, the instructions make the bag too long, but it's easy to shorten. The beginnings of the rounds were confusing sometimes imo, so I improvised a bit there as well. Overall a pretty pattern, but imperfect.

Didn't catch until I was already working that the pattern used DK weight cotton. This was Lily Sugar & Cream in Tangerine. Took me part of a second 3.5oz larger size skein. But I really love this bag and it looks especially cute when full!

Wondering if this is happening with anyone else too or if I'm missing something. The bulky part where the rows connect keeps curving to the right. No one's pics every include this part too so it's hard to tell. The rest of the pattern is fun to do though!

Due to the yarn I used, this bag is MUCH smaller than I intended. However, it is incredibly adorable and I am so proud of it. Its the perfect size for enough fruit for one person!
