Latest noteProgressDateMar 22, 2024ProjectMood😊I met stitch gauge with the first yarn I picked, a sport weight cotton using 3.5mm hook. I don't know the brand or colorway but it looks very nice.
My cover came to 4" x 2.5" - perfect on the shorter side of the handle bi 1" too short on the longer side. I added 6 rows (1" in my gauge) to reach 5" total length
The pattern is clear and easy to follow. The handle cover works up quickly, ~30 minutes if working straight through. I added a slst right before finishing off.
The cover has to be loose enough to get pulled over both sides of the handle so is a bit baggy to hold. I thought I would have a sensory issue feeling the sag but my hand is fine with it. The excess fabric gets corralled naturally when the cane is in use
