My finished pillow is 10 in across with a 2 inch fringe. Since I made the switch at the beginning of the pattern for a thinner yarn, the size difference was to be expected. Judging from the ratio of decrease, if I had made this in the proper size yarn the measurements would be accurate. Also, the pattern does state that the pillow size is customizable, which I view as one of the pattern's main strengths
